STMC Paster-In-Charge
Dear Friends,
I bring greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.
I extend a warm welcome to you as you visit our website today. Our Theme for this year (2023) is to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20). Our vision for 2023 is to “Reach the Unreached”. Our Mission is to grow, in our relationship with God and to make a positive impact in the world in which we live.
In a world that often seems chaotic and uncertain, our faith provides a solid
foundation to build our lives. Matthew 11:28 says, “Then Jesus said, “Come to
me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (NLT).
When we come to Jesus, He changes all our worries and burdens. It is in the
teachings of Jesus Christ that we find guidance, hope, and strength. It is
through the power of the Holy Spirit that we are transformed and empowered
to live out our faith in meaningful ways.
Our congregation is a family, a community that supports and uplifts one
another through life’s joys and challenges. We do ministries and programs to
meet the spiritual needs of individuals at every stage of life, from children to
senior citizens through worship services, engaging Bible studies,
compassionate outreach efforts, nurturing fellowship opportunities, and we
seek to create an atmosphere where everyone can grow spiritually and
develop authentic relationships.
We cordially invite you to come and worship with us in Sembawang Tamil
Methodist Church. We have our Tamil services on Sunday Mornings at 8.30
am. It is easily accessible as it is near to Yishun MRT.
I invite you to explore our Church and discover the many ways you can get
involved in our church community. Whether you are looking for a place to
worship, seeking answers to life’s questions, or desiring to make a difference in
the world, we believe you will find a home here. I am sure you will enjoy your
time with us. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. May God’s
abundant blessings be upon you.
With love in Christ
Rev Saravana Kumar.
